I’m so excited to share our new ebook, The Power of Yum: simple, healthy, fresh & flavorful. If you feel like your cooking is in a rut, you’re not alone! The culinary doldrums happen to everyone, including chefs. Our new cookbook is a fast, colorful, healthy, and delicious solution!
This project has been percolating for a couple of years. In fact, the notion of wanting to come up with a way to simplify cooking has been in my mind since graduating from culinary school, when I asked myself the question, Why does this have to be so complicated?
I’ve been dreaming about a way that really helps people access the power of yum to make simple food taste great. Something easy...delicious...creative...simple, yet fun enough for everyone from beginners to advanced cooks to enjoy.
My team at Healing Kitchens has been playing around with this concept for a while but kept getting pulled away by other projects. When COVID hit and we were in lockdown mode, we looked around and realized that this was the perfect time for us to hunker down and get some work done on this novel concept.

Collaborating with Jen and our CEO Paul Remer to take my wildest dream of simplifying home cooking and distilling it into a multimedia, user-friendly ebook has resulted in an absolute treasure.
FYI, we developed The Power of Yum with our wonderful readers in mind. Some of you have been with us since our first blog post in July 2015.
